technical and ecological standards and conventions. This fact has been proven
recently by the birth of a baby dolphin, and the Odessa dolphinarium was the
first and only one in Ukraine to host such an event. That stupendous happening
attracted mass media representatives and reporters from around Ukraine and
neighboring countries. The dolphinarium has a team of specialists who have a
rich experience of working with sea animals. As of today, the Nemo delphinarium
is among the top five European dolphinariums. It is not mere watching that
people come here for. The goal of the project is to boost public awareness of
the life of sea mammals and factors threatening their life. Also, the
dolphinarium has medical specialists on staff administering so called
dolphinotherapy to children and people with a disability status. For me,
finding it all out was something that made me forget about apartments in Odessa for a while.
