Peculiar places of interest in Odessa, Ukraine

Odessa can boast a lot of well-known attractions listed in on-line and paper guides and brochures, but there’re also those about which most guides don’t tell.
For example, even not all the locals know that Odessa has its own Eiffel Tower. In fact it is a smaller version of the famous symbol of French capital. The tower 15 meters height adorns the drilling machines factory at Bugaevskaya Street. It was constructed in the late 1950s. The director of the plant was in Paris with the Soviet delegation and saw the Eiffel Tower there. On return to Odessa he ordered the welding shop to make a copy.
