Almost 235 thousand flats sold in Ukraine in 2011

According to statistics, last year in Ukraine 255.1 thousand sale-purchase deals of residential property were made. This figure is about 0.9% higher than a year before.
234.7 thousand contracts were concluded for flats, and 25 for town and country houses. In 2010 this indicator comprised 215 thousand contracts and 18, respectively.
On the other hand, a number of exchange real estate contracts declined in 2011 by 14% to 4.13 thousand, of which share of apartments was to 3.95 thousand.
As for Odessa, according to data of the Real Estate Brokers Association, for the period from January 2011 to December 2011, on the secondary market there were 1,291 transactions of Odessa apartments purchase / sale, while 1,981 flats were sold in unfinished buildings.
