This year’s program of “New British Cinema” follows controversial and freedom-loving spirit of the British, who are not afraid of controversial issues and are able to laugh at anything.
The program includes films featuring main cinema icons of the Great Britain. Ewan McGregor and “Bond’s girl” Eva Green play a loving couple who save the world in an apocalyptic melodrama “Last Love on Earth.” American star Maggie Gyllenhaal shines in the enchanting comedy “Adult Toys”. In the biopic of the famous marijuana dealer Howard Marks “Nice guy” you can admire international “It-girl” Chloe Sevigny.
