Odessa, Ukraine is a festival capital

More than a hundred cultural events are included in Odessa festival calendar for 2013.
Next year traditional festivals of the international level will be held in Odessa, Ukraine, such as “Komediada”, Opera and Ballet Festival, Odessa Film Festival, “Green Wave”, Theatre Festival, Jazz Fest 2013 and many others. Brand new events are also planned.
2013 begins with the Christmas Festival at the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater, and then Animation Festival will be held in the city for the first time. Fans of classical music should mark in their calendar the First Odessa International Organ Festival and the International Cello Festival.
In May the International Tourist Festival and International Tourist Business Assembly will be also held for the first time. In August the central Dumskaya Square will host an interesting and unusual show, Majorette Cup of Ukraine. Majorette is an assistant if a leading drummer, marching and juggling with the music.
